The Saraswathy College of Nursing was established by the Saraswathy Educational Trust (SET) in 2007-08, in fond memory of the Late B. Saraswathy Amma, a reputed teacher and a noble lady who succumbed to Diabetes Mellitus at a comparatively young age of 44 in 1969. Eight batches of students have passed out and are well placed in leading healthcare instituitions in India and abroad.
Since 2011-12, M.Sc. Course in all Nursing Specialities except Community Health Nursing is also offered. The College Campus is located in a very serene and idyllic surrounding, and the students are provided value based education, that has come in for great praise from the employers of our alumni.
