            Velankanni Matha College of Nursing affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences offers B.Sc. Degree in Nursing. This noble endeavor is undertaken with our unfaltering conviction that nursing education will boost the career prospects of our students and will empower them with self esteem, self reliance etc. The College is established in the year 2012 by upgrading General Nursing Program. Currently we have admitted six batches of B.Sc. Nursing students with the sanctioned capacity of 40 students.

            Matha Hospital, Thellakom and Mitera Hospital, Thellakom are our parent hospitals. Matha hospital is a multi specialty hospital with almost all specialties having advanced facilities; whereas Mitera Hospital is exclusively for the Mother & Child. The College is blessed with a good team of well experienced and dedicated faculty. It has well equipped laboratories and modern library with all advanced facilities. The Hostel is well furnished and well maintained. The College is committed to quality education to young graduates so as to keep up the standard of nursing profession.
